What is the biggest town that the house is close to?


The nearest village is TOSSA DE MAR, 3km from the house. The nearest city is GERONA, 3535Km.The coast is worth visiting, some villages (tossa de mar is oneof those) have preserved an interesting old town center. Cadaques, San Feliu De Guixols are other places worth visiting. Day trips: to Barcelona (90km) or Figueras (40km) for the 'famous' Dali museum. 
 



2) are there any facilities/concessions at the nearby beach? 



Such as food, boat rentals, chair rentals, etc?the beach has a couple of restaurants, sea kayak and windsurf rentals, short boat excursions. The beach had chairs to rent. It is pretty informal and might change from one year to the other.Tossa de Mar tourist office also organizes walks in the nearby hills. Diving center also in Tossa.  




3) are there any activities in the nearby towns -- shopping, restaurants, museums, architecture, etc.?



Shopping... Nothing really exotic you could not find in Geneva!... Lots of restaurants. No major museum in tossa but yes museum and historical centers to visit in Gerona, Figueras, Cadaques, Barcelona.

Parking is available outside the house. Not a problem. There is a washing machine in the house. Deposit would be done through wire transfer. It is a quiet place ideal for families. The area is forested and cool in the summer. Nearest super market is 1km uphill. You can find everything at the nearest village 3km north.
